This is a full-time, hands-on leadership position for professionals who take pride in their work and understand what it takes to properly mitigate water, mold, and fire damage according to industry standards.

This role is not entry-level. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage jobs, lead crews, and deliver high-quality results without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee water mitigation projects from initial inspection through completion
• Lead and direct technicians on job sites with clear expectations
• Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment and containment systems
• Ensure all work meets IICRC standards and company protocols
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and office staff
• Accurately document job progress with photos, notes, and moisture readings
• Perform demolition, cleanup, and removal of damaged materials
• Work safely in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas using PPE
• Assist with basic reconstruction tasks (drywall, texture, painting, finish work)
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response services

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Lead Water Mitigation Technician
• IICRC WTR Certification required (additional certifications preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to run jobs and lead crews independently
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments
• Comfortable handling challenging conditions (tight spaces, odors, debris)
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

Requirements

• Valid Idaho driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• High school diploma or GED
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts

• Hourly pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
